Megan Buser

Dr. Khan will make you feel heard, valued, and hopeful. He is neither overly sympathetic nor cold and detached. He carefully walks you through the whole process, stating the testing that can be done and the possibility for the underlying issues. I have only had one appointment thus far, but I definitely plan on returning and was extremely pleased with my experience at Shady Grove. Highly recommend to anyone going through any type of fertility issues.

This doctor has no bedside manner. He was cruel and rude during a very vulnerable time. He was abrupt and cold. I can't say enough how discouraged I felt after meeting with him. When asked how he came up with my diagnosis, he pointed to my acne scars and said \Look at your face.\ I took a break from pursuing any treatment after meeting with him because it took a lot for me to even see him. He didn't even offer any less invasive options as should have been the first option since I already had a daughter with no intervention 3 years prior to meeting him. I read later that medication should have been a first option for my diagnosis which he didn't even discuss or offer...went right to let's start getting you prepared for IVF. Just in it for the money I guess. HORRIBLE DOCTOR...stay away!

Great overall experience... Very professional and knowledgeable physician. Kind and empathetic and compassionate. He has all the qualities of an outstanding fertility specialist. The staff is very courteous and the office is so organized and well run. Shady Grove Fertility really stands apart from rest of the fertility offices in the northern Virginia region. They also help patients save precious time and money and avoid unnecessary tests without sacrificing care and at the same time deliver such better care overall!!! I only wish I had found Dr. Khan and SGF sooner.

I realize he has a specialty but he’s an MD who is surrounded by NPs and RNs. When a patient tells a Dr. or Nurse that they have numbness in their left arm and they don’t at the very least check vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, use a stethoscope, etc) then I seriously question their ability and practices to perform even the most basic of medical tasks. It seems that his method includes instructing said patient to drive themselves to the ER... “Hope you don’t have a heart attack on the way!” If there was an ounce of concern for the patient then he would have insisted that someone on his team find a way to get their patient the care they need. Poor excuse for a doctor, his team, and his practice, with 0 bedside manner. Do yourself a favor and find a Dr. and facility who cares about their patients overall well being and doesn’t provide excuses. They teach checking vital signs to Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.
